Fixed Up. Fun Ready.
Heavy Seas provides specialist support for yacht tenders, dinghies and other marine inflatables, with every job carried out in-house by an experienced technical team.
Our services include puncture and seam repairs, tube replacement, deep cleaning, accessory installation and full tender refurbishment, helping restore performance, safety and appearance.
From minor damage to complete overhauls, each project is assessed individually to define the right repair method, materials and scope of work.
Tube Replacement, Minor repairs & Refurbishment
RIBs and yacht tenders are regularly exposed to salt water, UV radiation, lifting, towing and contact with docks or bathing platforms.
Our team handles both localised repairs and more extensive refurbishment work, including:
- Puncture and seam repairs
- Valves and fittings
- Tube-to-hull connections
- Rigid hull components
- Partial or complete tube replacement
- Surface and cosmetic restoration
Localised damage can often be repaired without replacing the complete tube. When deterioration is more extensive, partial or full tube replacement may be required.
Each tender is inspected individually to determine the most suitable materials, marine-grade adhesives and repair method.
Cleaning, Upgrades & Inflatable Equipment
Services can include:
- Tube cleaning and rejuvenation
- Non-slip surfaces
- Handles and rubbing pads
- Boarding accessories
- Equipment mounting points
- Reinforcements for towing, lifting and diving operations
- Custom marine fittings
We also repair inflatable marine equipment such as floating platforms, towable toys and custom inflatable structures, assessing each item according to its material, construction and pressure requirements.

Heavy Seas supports yacht owners, captains, engineers and management companies throughout Mallorca and the Balearic Islands, from minor repairs to complete yacht-tender refurbishment.
Secure winter storage is also available for RIBs, yacht tenders and dinghies. Repair, cleaning and refurbishment work can be coordinated during the storage period, helping ensure the tender is ready for the following season.
Frequently Asked Questions
About RIB and Inflatable
Small punctures, faulty valves, detached seams and localised damage can often be repaired. Partial or complete tube replacement may be recommended when there is extensive UV deterioration, repeated pressure loss, widespread seam failure, severe abrasion or loss of flexibility.
Our technicians inspect the condition of the tubes before recommending the most suitable option.
Yes. Our technicians work with different inflatable tube materials, including Hypalon, neoprene and PVC. The repair products, adhesives and techniques are selected according to the material, its condition and the type of damage.
Please provide the tender brand and model, location, approximate age, a description of the damage and photos or videos where possible.
Information about the tube material, previous repairs or repeated pressure loss can also support the initial assessment.
Yes. Repair, cleaning, maintenance and refurbishment work can be coordinated while the RIB or tender is in winter storage.
This allows the work to be completed during the low season so that the tender is prepared for its next period of use.
The timeframe depends on the type of damage, the condition of the material and whether replacement tubes or components need to be ordered.
Minor puncture, valve or seam repairs generally require less workshop time than complete tube replacement or full tender refurbishment. A more accurate timeframe can be provided after inspection.
